Egad! What was Ringo thinking? Ringo seems to like to do covers of songs that do irreparable damage to his reputation. Sometimes he succeeds like with "You’re Sixteen" or "Only You", but other times, well… Anyway, this Holland-Dozier-Holland song was done memorably better by The Supremes in 1964 and later by Soft Cell in 1982 when coupled with their hit "Tainted Love".
